We are here to help even when there isn’t an emergency.

Garfield County Fire CARES provides prevention programs and a community health program to address needs before they become emergencies.

 

Mobile Integrated Health

Our MIH program provides a varitey of services aimed at bridging gaps to help community members live healthier and safer lives.

  • Health Care Navigation

The MIH program is grant funded and provided at no-cost.

CPR & First Aid Classes

Community CPR, AED, & First Aid classes are offered the last Saturday of each month (except December).

AHA BLS classes are offered quarterly.

Child & Babysitter Safety classes are offered twice a year (spring and fall).

Wilderness First Aid class is offered in the spring.

Smoke Detectors

We are able to offer up to 3 free smoke detectors with installation as part of our partnership with American Red Cross.

We can also provide information about where additional smoke detectors should be placed and install any additional smoke detectors that you provide.
